Claire Clelland Making a Difference

The Spring 2024 issue of the Crater Foundation Newsletter features 2000 Crater graduate, Claire Clelland, who is a rising star in the research and treatment of people with cognitive disorders and dementia. Claire participated in volleyball and Brain Bowl, was the Yearbook editor and attended Girls’ State. She was on Honor Roll and the Principal’s List, was a Rotary Student of the Month, an Oregon Scholar Athlete, took second place in the Crater Poetry Contest and went on to be recognized with a second- place honor by the Oregon Poetry Association. While her Crater resume is impressive, perhaps her greatest effort came as the editor of the Crater Yearbook where her innovative approach to the Yearbook earned her recognition as the Yearbook Student of the Year.
