Co-Founder Feature: Dan Speasl

The fall 2023 Crater Foundation Newsletter is once again taking a different approach to this issue’s feature article. In issue number 84, co-founder of the Crater Foundation Dan Speasl is being honored. The Foundation was deeply saddened when, on July 27, 2023, the iconic and much-loved Crater High School teacher and coach, and one of the four founders of the Crater Foundation lost his battle with cancer. While only 70 years old at his passing, he left a rich legacy to inspire us all.
