Class of 1963.  Mike earned 10 varsity letters in baseball, basketball, and football. Mike was All Conference in football, basketball and baseball his junior and senior years.

He played football at OIT where he was the starting quarterback.

While in Viet Nam, he was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star with V for Valor.

He coached football at Central Catholic High School in Modesto for 10 years and at Modesto Junior College for 10 years, then returned as head coach at Central Catholic. He has been named the Calhisports.com Small Schools Coach of the Year on two different occasions. His teams a CCHS have a record of 152-24-3.
