Lloyd Hoffine

Lloyd was a coach, athletic director, and assistant principal for 35 years at Crater before retiring in 1993.

One of the most successful basketball coaches in the school’s history, he started the girls basketball program in 1977. Under his leadership as Athletic Director, Crater won 20 conference championships.

He was instrumental in building the new gymnasium, Anhorn baseball complex, the weight room, and the new track.

Lloyd is a member of the Southern Oregon University Hall of Fame where he was an outstanding basketball and baseball player.
