David Bailey

Class of 1967 .  David earned 8 varsity letters in football, basketball and baseball. In 1967, David was selected to the All Conference First Team in baseball and awarded player of the Year in the Southern Oregon Conference. He was selected to the Oregon State All Star Team and played in the Shrine All Star Football Game.

David attended Portland State on a baseball scholarship where he lettered two years in football and four years in baseball. David became an outstanding athlete while attending Portland State and still holds the school record for the longest scoring reception in football.

In baseball he is the second winningest pitcher in Portland State history and still holds the school record for lowest ERA at 1.29. He only gave up two home runs during his four years of pitching at PSU.

Today, David lives in Minden, Nevada with his wife, Diane and their two children.
