Class of 1963. Darryl earned 10 varsity letters in football, baseball, and, basketball. He was named All Conference in basketball and 2 times All Conference in baseball.

Darryl graduated from Oregon State University where he was a 3 year letterman in baseball and still holds the home run record or the Oregon State baseball team.
