A 2002 Crater graduate, Chris competed in football, wrestling and track while at Crater High. He was an All-Conference football player and was the first athlete in Oregon class 4A state history to win a wrestling and track and field championship the same year. He was the state 2002 heavyweight wrestling champion and was the 2002 state shot put champion with a throw of 58\u20192\u201d. The previous week he set a Southern Oregon Conference record and a Crater High School record in the shot put with a throw of 60\u201911\u201d.<\/p>\n
Chris went to the University of Oregon on a track and wrestling scholarship. He was a track and field athlete in 2002 -2003, played on the 2003 \u2013 2004 Oregon football team and wrestled for Oregon from 2003-2007. He was a three-time Pac-10 placer in wrestling and was the Oregon wrestling team captain during the 2006 \u2013 2007 year. Chris amazingly earned a varsity letter at University of Oregon in football, wrestling and track. Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from University of Oregon in 2007.<\/p>\n
He was a member of the Oregon National Guard from 2012-2018. In addition, he was a volunteer coach at Crater High School in 2017 \u2013 2018 with the wrestling and track and field programs.<\/p>\n
Chris worked for Oregon Power-Up of Business Development, was VP of Business Development for Oregon Power Transformers Inc. and worked as Director of Sales for Pacific Crest Transformers. Currently he is the owner of DZ Consulting.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":988,"template":"","hof-category":[21],"yoast_head":"\n
