Hanby Middle School
Hanby, originally built in 1910, was Gold Hill School which later became Gold Hill High School. When consolidation of districts occurred in 1950, Gold Hill High School became Hanby Junior High School housing 7th and 8th grade students. In 1971, 7th and 8th grade students from Sam’s Valley were added to the school. In 1991, 6th grade students from Patrick Elementary and Sam’s Valley Elementary were added to the student body and the school became Hanby Middle School.
After a variety of remodels and additions over the years, a major remodel was made to the school in 2003.
